Lawrence County Veterans Affairs

Veterans Affairs assists Lawrence County's veterans, veterans' dependants and veterans' survivors with their lawful claims for the Veterans Administration.

Important notes:

Any person living in Lawrence County who served in Vietnam should contact this office, due to contact with Agent Orange. Exposure to Agent Orange often results in catastrophic illnesses. Surviving family members of Veterans who served in Vietnam and later passed away from illness should also contact this office to determine whether they are receiving their full, lawful benefits.

Read more about veteran's benefits for Agent Orange, including other site where veteran's may have been exposed here.

Any person (or surviving family member of a person) who served at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina between August 1, 1953 and December 31, 1987 should also contact this office. Chemically contaminated water at Camp Lejuene has caused many catastrophic illnesses later in life.
